Fox and The Grapes Story Summery

fox-grapes-story-moralOnce there lived a fox in a Jungle. It was a winter day. The fox feels hungry. He came across the countryside. He  happened to pass through a vineyard. On seeing  the lush grapes his mouth  watered.

First he lifted  his  head  and  stretched  out.  He could  not  reach  the  grapes. He felt the grapes to  be higher. Then he stood on his back legs and stretch. Again, he could not reach them.

Finally, he jumped up and jumped up. Even  then, he could not reach them. The  grapes were  too  high  to  reach. The fox was  too  tired  to try again, So, he  left  the place murmuring, “The  grapes are sour. Who would eat sour grapes?”.

Moral: A wise mans accepts the defeat sportingly.

Once upon a time there was a crow lived in a jungle. It was a hot summer day. In a spell of dry weather, when the Birds and Animals could find very little water to drink, the thirsty Crow search of water. He found a pitcher with a little water in it. But the pitcher was high and had a narrow neck. He tried and tried but the Crow could not reach the water. The poor thing felt as if he must die of thirst.

Then an idea came to him. Picking up some small pebbles, he dropped them into the pitcher one by one. With each pebble the water rose a little higher until at last it was near enough so he could drink.
